Farm Crew

Kent has worked in agriculture as a lifelong occupation and calling.  His life has been an adventure in learning and exploration.  Plato Dale Farm has been a coming together of his life and experiences.  We continue to grow and challenge ourselves with new things.

Hannah manages many aspects of our farm enterprise.  Hannah’s artistic flair is evidenced by the wonderful photography on our website and at our farm market displays. Hannah monitors the quality of our produce ensuring a great Plato Dale experience.

Erin has worked with us for many years and has decided to join our team as a full time employee. She collects and packages our eggs, feeds the calves, many barn and field chores and organizes our wholesale accounts. She has official fan girl status.

Jenny took on the addition of The Heritage Kitchen. THK does sourdough baking and other delights. The Heritage Kitchen will soon be certified with a lot more to offer. In addition, Jenny does markets with Kent in Williamsville, homestead development and teaches strings.

Janet does all of our bookkeeping and runs the office. While “retired” for many years, she has a very intense hobby of farm bookwork and financial management.

Janet and Russell are the patron saints of Plato Dale Farm. Kent’s parents started farming together on the Plato Brook as the fourth generation of Millers/Wooleys in the 60’s. Russell’s father, grandparents and great-grandparents have been farming here for a long time. The original homestead was settled by the Charles Francis family in the early 1800’s.

We are truly blessed. Our Goodly Heritage continues with food, faith, farming and community.
