DUTIES AND ABILITIES
- Field work: planting, weeding, and harvesting
- Ability to stand, sit, bend, kneel, stretch, and squat for extended periods of time.
- Physical Stamina with the ability to undertake manual and sometimes heavy work, ability to lift at least 25 lb.
- A thorough/attentive nature, focus on quality, and steady pace a must
- Maintain Organic standards
- Communicate and record information about crops and conditions
- Operate farm equipment
- Ability to focus on a single task for extended periods of time
- Ability to stay focused while working in groups and independently
- Ability to follow instructions and retain training information
- Maintain a positive attitude
HOURS AND CONDITIONS
Monday-Friday 9am-5pm with 1 hour unpaid lunch break
Lunch may be provided by the farm on occasion
Expect to work in all weather conditions while safely able
Average work week 40+ hours. Extra hours may be available during market and harvest season
Must be available to work through to November 1
