Happy Mayday!  

The deadline for joining our Home Delivery CSA is Sunday Night, May 4.  We will be closing our season signups then.  We need to do the paperwork and get ready for the season!

We are head over heels into spring work.  We missed the last hail storm by a few miles.  We hope that today's misses us as well.

As of this morning the carrots and potatoes are planted.  The greenhouse is full of seedlings.  We will hit the ground next week planting onions and the second round of greens.

Next week we will spend a day foraging for the first market of the season at the Elmwood Village Farmer's Market.  We will have Ramps and hopefully some asparagus.  

We are very excited to have some great new employees and volunteers.  We are also excited to see our friends return for the season start.  Plato Dale Farm is a place of work and production but even more it is our community.  We work with great friends and supporters.  We are very fortunate!
