Frosty mornings bring a natural slowness that helps to ground our work this time of year. We are more deliberate in our movements as we make the most of the short days. Thanksgiving is right around the corner.  This celebration is both spiritual and embodied.  It is the natural end of the season and the moment we reflect on the season.  We nourish our bodies with our harvests, we nourish our souls with time to ponder, reflect and look forward.

November Meat Box Special

Add on some wonderful fall kale to your order this week.  We are picking fall growth kales that have grown in the frosty days that make it tender and mild.  Great for an add on!

This fall Eric and Luke are busy working on our barns and facility maintenance.  We are replacing older curtain siding with new tin.  These old buildings take a lot of maintenance.

Consider getting charcuteries and cheese to round out your holiday gatherings from our great local choices.  We also are getting pies, crumbles and baked goods going for your celebrations.

We are thankful for each and every person who has helped us follow our farming dreams.  We are thankful for our coworkers who work really, really hard.   We are thankful for our restaurants and wholesale customers who drive our local food culture.  We are thankful for our CSA members who invest in a long term way to benefit our community.  We are thankful for our farmer's market managers, organizations and customers that bring a vibrant market scene to our place in the world.  God bless us every one!
