May is here and so it planting season.  We were able to plow, till and ready our planting beds last week.  This week we have started to plant.  So far we have done Pinto potatoes, Walla onions, Red Wing Onions and carrots.

We have greens, lettuces, cabbage and beets in the hardening off area that will go in next week.  

We held our first ever event to put the cows out on pasture.  We were excited to see the families and experience good food, learning and cow vibes.

Saturday is the first day of the Elmwood Bidwell Market.  We will have limited ramps, asparagus, rhubarb and few other things.  We have lots of beef, a little chicken and pork as well.  Looking forward to a new market season!

We have lots going on.  CSA shares will start the second week of June if we get our lettuces planted.  Online orders will be weekly in the Buffalo area, South and North will be Biweekly in a similar fashion to last year.  We will add more specifics in a week or so as we flesh out our plans.

Final day for Home Delivery CSA signups is next Friday May, 17.
