We are sending out to give an update for our Home Delivery CSA.

As of now we still plan on starting the second week of June for the Home Delivery CSA.  It has been really cold and cloudy giving us a slow growing season so far.  We typically wait until the strawberries are ready to start.  We will see how that goes.

There is a frost advisory for tonight.  The only crop we are worried about is our early sweet corn planting.  It may be stunted by the cold.  That happens when we get these late frosts and cold temperatures.

We have had good luck dodging rain drops with planting so far.  We have a lot to get in the ground this week and it is a little too wet to plow this morning.  No panic yet, but we need the sun and some warmer temperatures.

What we are really late on is getting pastures going.  The grass is growing but it is too wet to put out the cows.  They will make a muddy mess.  We have enough feed to keep feeding in the barn and will probably keep doing so for a few days.
