Summer is moving along at a blistering pace.  Corn is getting close, tomatoes are forming, peppers and potatoes are blossoming and onions are starting to size up.  We have had good rainfall, nice heat and enough time to weed.

We are disappointed in our results with the new online farmshop.  I assume people are finding it hard to use.

One helpful hint is to turn your phone sideways to look at it.  You can shop by category that way.  It is even better to use a computer to browse the farm shop.  The large number of items makes it a little cumbersome to see  on a phone screen.

If anyone has insights into how to make the store easier to use, we are all ears.  We know we are loosing customers in the shopping process.

We did our first processing of chicken yesterday.  We had no issues and things moved along smoothly.  We had a full compliment of help and powered through!  We will have less chicken this year as we decided to make our lives a little simpler.  We hope that only 3 days of processing will allow us to be more successful in our other endeavors as we won't ignore large patches of the farm in processing season.

We have pulled the garlic for the year and are putting it in to cure today.  We grow Music Garlic, a German white type.  It is the best garlic we have ever grown with large heads and cloves.  We will have it at market for the rest of the season and will be including it in our CSA shares.

Have a wonderful week!
