We are fixing fence, moving cows and mowing fence lines as fast as we can. Eric is putting in some long days. The field crew is also bustin' their butts to get planted, picked and weeded. It is that super busy time of year where everyone has to pull their weight and then some.
We did our hay for the year this week. Thanks to Joe Siler and crew for their hard work to beat the rain. We have a bunk full of very nice haylage that we will cover with tarp and tires today.
Please have your orders from the farm shop in by 8:00 am on Monday so we have time to get them in the van for Tuesday deliveries. Our deliveries will be on Tuesdays this summer so note the change.
Week B of our Home Delivery CSA is this coming week. We will be doing Buffalo and north.
Time to get out the door!
